VSIDO - a new distro!

Tried VSIDO [http://vsido.org/] yesterday, and it's pretty damn good! Based on Debian Sid, you can choose between OpenBox or Xfce. Installs in minutes - in my case, 13 minutes, 29 seconds. Very simple and straight-forward. Only drawback? 64-bit only, and I couldn't get my wifi chipset working on Toshiba, which is sort of an on-going issue with this machine. Nonetheless, a distro you really should check out...

One of Sector11's wallpapers posted on the VSIDO forum.

Oh, two points that I should mention;
  1. Used unetbootin to write the image to a flash-drive. Not recommended, but it worked.
  2. The install was a dual-boot with Windows8. No problems whatsoever.

    1. Thanks for the feedback. I should also say that I have to give this distro another shot, when I get a day off or something, maybe with a different kernel ISO. Truth be told, if time weren't a factor, and a real need to get other stuff done, I'd still be tinkering around trying to get stuff done. Aside from the WiFi, the system ran like a grayhound!
